General Best of Scandinavia is your online retailer for Scandinavian design and Nordic crafting. We provide a kind, competent, professional and fast service to our customers. Below please find our terms and conditions which follow the applying Swedish legislation.
The following business conditions are acknowledged by the customer with every order. By ordering at Best of Scandinavia a contract between the customer and Best of Scandinavia is completed.
Refusal of transaction
To be eligible to purchase products from us on this website and form a contract you must:
• Be at least eighteen years of age
• Register using your real name, phone number, E-mail address and payment details
• Provide a shipping address that is not a PO box or Post restante.
• Use a valid credit/debit card that is acceptable to our bank partner
We cannot accept your order if any of the following occurs:
• We cannot charge your credit card for some reason
• If we are unable to deliver for reasons out of our control or that we do not have the product(s) in stock
You can always cancel your order before it is sent from us. Your cancellation must be written in form of an E-mail covering all order details. Some restrictions may apply. Best of Scandinavia comply with the Swedish Konsumentköplagen, and the European Union E-commerce directive which means that you can, in a period of 14 days, return a product if you are not completely satisfied. When returning a product it must be in unchanged condition. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable shipping service when returning a product.
Contact email@example.com for further instructions before returning the products. The price of the products, shipping costs deducted, will be refunded within 20 days from the day that the product is delivered to Best of Scandinavia. If you use your right to return a product, the shipping costs, custom and handlings fees will be paid by you. If a product is specially made, or in any way changed after your instructions, you can not cancel your order. Jewellery is excluded from returning.
Prices for EU residents
Prices apply which are displayed on the webpage at the time of ordering. All prices at Best of Scandinavia are gross prices including Swedish VAT, which is generally 25% resp. 6% for books. The basis for all prices is the swedish krona that gets automatically converted into Euros by a web-based currency converter according to current exchange rates. The total price includes the price for the products and possibly shipping fees. The total price is visible at the checkout-page before confirming the order, as soon as you have chosen your country of destination.
Prices for residents outside the European Union
If you are ordering from outside the EU, you pay applicable import taxes and customs fee according to your country’s policy when your order is delivered. You may also be charged an administrative fee by the shipping company.
Responsibility for your shipment goes to the transport company when it’s left our store. If the shipment is damaged or lost when returning it on your initiative, you are responsible for loss or damage. We recommend packing returned products in the original container/box or similar. Furthermore, we recommend insuring the shipment. Complaints Please contact our customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any problems such as damages or, in any way, incorrect orders. If returning any product, after agreed with our customer service representative, use the original package, include a description of the damage and return to:

We pack every parcel very carefully. Even though it can happen that it gets damaged on the way to you. We ask you to examine all parcels carefully when you receive it. Please reclaim visible damages directly to your local postman. If you recognize damages first after opening the parcel please contact us. Take a picture of the damages and contact us.
Best of Scandinavia is not taking any responsibility for damages or delays that are caused by acts of god (e.g. war, strikes, fire, natural disaster or disruption in operation at Best of Scandinavia or our suppliers). We have the right to withdraw from all contracts or defer any delivery until the cause of delay is out of the way. Laws The conditions in this contract shall be governed by and construed with the laws of Sweden and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.
